Rereading a Favorite Book

One day you’ll find yourself rereading a favorite book. The book, of course, won’t have changed—what you read at 16 will be the exact text you reread at 36 and 56. You, however, will have evolved considerably, as will your understanding of the work. And if you take the time to register these new reactions to old favorites, you’ll learn quite a bit about your past and present selves as well.

Extra Points
Don’t forget to record the date you finish a book in its inside cover.
