Tying a Bowtie

One day you’ll find yourself tying a bowtie. Or at least trying to; it’s a surprisingly difficult task. Before downgrading to a pre-tied version and forfeiting the best part of bowtie-wearing—rakishly untying it at the end of the night—remember that if you know how to tie a shoe, you know how to tie a bow. It’s the same knot, and while that may confuse your mind, your hands know what to do.

Extra Points
If you’re still struggling, try tying it around your thigh. (Conveniently, most men’s thighs are the same size as their necks, and it provides a better angle.) Then, once tied, simply unclip the bowtie and reattach it around your neck.
